Since wins and losses are analogous to the electoral college (Pitt gets 100% of the pundit credit for last night's game), WVU has been bitten by the snake the most so far. But they're not "dead" yet. Perhaps it's too late to get a top-6 or top-5 seed in either the BEast or the NCAAs, but they can do a ton of damage in both tournaments regardless. WVU is a lot better than their record. Outstanding how some people don't seem to get into the moment during basketball games, or life in general.
