Yes, this was easily the most compelling game of the tournament. UNC dominated the first half with offensive rebounding, getting to the line, and great shows of athleticism. Georgetown showed tremendous heart in the second half and I loved every backdoor just as much as Big Willie Style. Thanks to the wonder that is DVR, I was able to catch the game in its entirety. In the end, it was a bit of Syracuse basketball that shut down the Tar Heels; JTIII went to the 2-3, and that was that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Georgetown tried going 2-3 earlier in the game, but backed off after Terry hit a few threes.

HOYAS!!!!! You made us Big East fans proud.

Another thought: I can't help but think that Pete Carril is smirking back there. I'm so glad JT3 brought the Princeton offense to a big time Division I program. The Princeton offense deserves to be known as a viable, beautiful system -- not some gimmick that only benefits unathletic players.
