Big East Hoops

Quick Hits

  • Syracuse and West Virginia stay home. I imagine they were both right on the edge. Credit goes to the Butlers for suckitude when it counted.
  • Someone the whole world will know about by next weekend: Trey Johnson. He’ll put up 40 in the first #16 over #1 upset ever…against the #1 overall seed no less. Well that was fun.
  • There are a ton of underrated schools in the 7, 8, 9 and 10 lines. I wouldn’t be shocked to see more than one of Georgia Tech, Arizona, Nova, Kentucky, or Marquette in the sweet 16.
  • I like Notre Dame’s draw more than a lot. There are also a number of suspect teams in Georgetown’s half of the East.
