I guess Syracuse isn't a lock for the NCAA's like we thought. That was a true snub if I've ever seen one.

Hey Big W...I love Jeff also... but we cannot depend on ONE individual player to pull us outta the barrel everynight...I knew when we went away from Roy what would happen eventually and it did...look how Syracuse whipped our butts...one of the worst losses in Hoya history especially against Syracuse...as I stated before... we've won those last two or three games we've struggled because we went away from Roy although we've won...Jeff was not playing good basketball earlier this season...these last few games Jeff has stepped up individually as of late...Where was Jeff against Syracuse...When Roy is in trouble we are in trouble because our guards don't attack the basket as needed especially when Roy goes out...also Jeff needs to take over...that didn't happen...When we go to Roy "our leader" Jeff "our horse" it makes our game a whole lot simpler and it takes off pressure on the guards and our turnovers go down and Roy either gets fouled or he's going make the shot and it also stops the clock...I know this game all to well...especially my team...

Kent, I'm glad we've finally found a Hoya supporter on this site. your team has won over quite a few of us here at BigEastHoops.com, myself included. And I can only hope that UConn's big man will turn out as good as Hibbert has. I agree with you on getting him the ball more, but I still love Jeff Green, and I still believe he's the best player in the conference, no matter how many big shots Demetris Nichols hits.

I can you some things...I am truly indeed one the biggest Georgetown fans you can ever imagine...Congratulations Syracuse...the Orangemen kicked our butts like never before...that is one of the worst butt kickings from Syracuse that I've ever seen...wowww...I do know Syracuse played a very hard game and deserve to win and did win...I know Syracuse was saying damn they don't want to give Roy the ball...Jeff Green doesn't want to give the ball to Roy for fear of not being in headlines on a weekly basis...its quite evident...those last two games including this lost to Syracuse haunted me because I said if we go away from playing smart basketball (Inside out) we will not win down the road because the selfishness will catch up with us especially those last two games...we struggled to win for no reason although Jeff had a two great INDIVIDUAL game performance and got the praise from everyone ...I read the articles in the newspapers when Big Roy was getting mad press...Jeff said "Roy was our leader...tonight."...hmmm...I think with the Hoyas having a rare 7'2" legit big man that can flat out do it...GIVE ROY THE BALL!!! (blocks, #1 in field goal percentage, passing, hustling, diving for loose balls, altering shots from opposing team, rebounds) man, this kid does all the little things that add up to the big picture and he only gets like 5 or 6 touches in a game, man thats really crazy and mind boggling...everygame we have lost was because of our guards not being to recognize the Big Fella Roy quickly or didn't want to pass it in to Roy, but when Vernon Macklin or Jeff posts up they don't hesitate for one moment to get that ball down there...go figure...everybody can't be a superstar...we have to just play the game as a TEAM EVERYNIGHT...not just when we win a game and then a Hoya player say now its my turn...whewwww...Sapp need to get the ball in the post consistently also...Our backcourt is hurting us badddddddddd and Jessie and Jonathan really got EXPOSED big time...they are good players, but some of the fundamentals at this stage are lacking and one is THEIR HEART...those guards didn't drive not one dang time, unbelievable...man I'm going up in that joint no matter...zones have holes in the defensive when you shift the ball quickly and move...if your fast enough catch the D on that angle and stay low and roll out...smile...i can go on and on but I aint...I just want my Hoyas to play with togetherness and stop worrying about the press and headlines and stop playing selfish at times...It starts with our pg Jonathan Wallace or Jessie...the leadership was definitely not there...bout to start a GIVE ROY THE BALL CAMPAIGN...lol...peace

LETS GO HOYAS!!!

Oddly enough, UConn could spoil it tomorrow for Nova. I think you're also neglecting West Virginia which has all but locked up a bid. Villanova will make it eight, and when UConn wins the BET, I'll get my nine, baby!

One can dream...

It should also be noted that in addition to the eight NCAA teams we expect here, DePaul, Providence, and UConn will be quality NIT teams. MSG might be busy hosting Big East schools throughout March.
